| Turn up collar - start tape at collar seam and measure down to the actual length wanted. |
Place tape at middle of back "center seam" and continue across to where seam of coat sleeve joins to back. |
Place tape across top of shoulders from where shoulder seam meets sleeve seam to opposite side. |

| Insert tape attachment in armhole where sleeve joins body of coat and measure to length desired or use sleeve measurement device. Taken with jacket removed, place device under arm, measure to length desired. |
Place tape horizontally around body, close up under arms and check to see that it is centered well over shoulder blades in back and over fullest part of the breast in front. Do not draw tape snug tight or allow it to sag. |
Place tape horizontally over both arms, one - wo inches above the regular breast measurement. Do not draw tape snug tight or allow it to sag. |

| Measure around waist just above trouser waistband over the shirt. Do not measure over vest, belt or waistband. Take measure exact. Do not allow tape to sag. |
Be sure customer's hip pockets are empty and heels are together before applying tapeline. Then measure around fullest part of seat. Hold tapeline sufficiently easy to permit sliding fingers under it. |
Start from back center seam, bring tape over shoulders to actual opening desired. |

| Start from back center seam, bring tape over shoulder and continue on to full length desired. Length is usually about 3 1/2" below top of pant waistband. |
Start at top of center back and measure down to length desired. Length is usually 1/2" below bottom of pant waistband. |
Adjust trousers to waist position customarily worn. Start tape from the TOP of the waistband and measure to length desired. |
